Let’s clear up some common misconceptions about what Google Cache does:

Google’s cache isn’t updated every time a page is crawled. Therefore, it does not always reflect changes to the web page.

With Google Cache, you may not always see what you see on Google due to various factors, including your version of Chrome or the use of a different browser.

Google may not be caching the page. Just because you don’t cache a page doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s a problem with it or that it’s not indexed. In these cases, if you don’t see any problems when inspecting the URL, there’s no need to worry.

Sign in to your Google Search Console account.

In the ‘ Index ’ menu on the left , click Remove and go to Temporary Remove .

How to delete a page from Google cache

Select ‘ Remove only this URL ’ and submit your request. It may take a day phone number lists or two for Google to process your request.

Useful Notes

If you select the ‘ Temporarily Remove ‘ option, your page URL will not appear in Google search results for 6 months. However, when you make it live, Google will index and re-cache it.

To clear the cache, select the ‘Clear Cached UR_L’ tab. Web pages are cached after Google’s next crawl.

“ Remove all URLs with this prefix ” will delete the entire folder or directory from search results.
